"I enjoy helping to organise the Annual Youth Award Exhibition. Each year brings an exciting collection of artworks from many wonderfully talented High School students.
The Award Presentation Night is always very special with many students coming together to receive their prizes. This is a "must see" exhibition, held in June each year."

How to become a volunteer
At the very heart of Melville Arts @ Atwell House are our wonderful VOLUNTEERS. In collaboration with Centre's staff and committee, our volunteers help create a vibrant, inspirational and diverse service for our community.
We provide training in all positions to further develop skill sets and support our volunteers.

Opportunities
We are looking for volunteers for the following areas:
In the Gallery:
- Hanging and regular gallery assistance
- Exhibition events and coordinating openings.
Gift Shop:
- Data entry
- Sales & customer service
- Merchandising
Marketing and Promotion
- Promotion of art classes, exhibitions, and events through social media platform
- Assisting to develop a marketing plan
Events
- Assist coordinating precinct events, including markets, fairs, auctions and open days.
