Class Description
Course Content:
Over the 4 weeks we will try a number of ways to draw. We will try a number of different media, including charcoal, pastel pencil, graphite pencil, conte and pastel.
We will use a variety of paper including smooth pastel paper, canson drawing paper and other papers in white, black and
midtone.
Learning Outcomes:
An introduction to multiple drawing techniques will help the student to overcome art hesitancy and allow them to seek further knowledge with our other courses.

Materials:
Materials for this course are supplied. Should a student like to purchase their own a material list can be supplied for you.
Tutor
Fiona is a visual artist and teacher. She trained as a scenic artist in Perth and worked for many years as a mural and large-scale painter.
She often travels in the Southwest of WA, a totally beautiful part of the world to gather reference material and is inspired to paint the ocean because of the sense of belonging to the Earth that it inspires.
Fiona works in both pastel and paint.
