Learn to effectively depict botanical, landscapes and wildlife subjects in acrylic and oil. This class is about building confidence and working your way to paint on a large canvas. One on one learning of techniques ranging from loosening up with running paint on canvas, through to blending with a brush and layering texture with a pallet knife.
Learning outcomes: You will learn how to prepare a journal/folder with many ideas so your time will be spent painting during class. Covering a range of techniques as well as other little tricks to save money, such as how to hang your artwork
Suitable for: The class offers a relaxed environment for adults of all ages including anyone with disabilities. Beginners through to intermediate artists.

Kylie Porter is a Perth based artist who grew up in the northern wheatbelt of Western Australia and has lived and worked in the outback and Kakadu National Park. Surrounded by rich rugged escarpment, tranquil waterlily-filled billabongs, paperbark swamps and the abundance of wild life, Kylie captured this and more with her paintings.
